Warranty Claim

Every pair of Union Bindings is injected with the highest quality Duraflex Nylon. The result is strength, safety and security. It also means having the confidence of a lifetime warranty on all baseplates and heel cups. So, if you break, or even crack your baseplate or heelcup during riding, we’ll replace it for life. Guaranteed.

Core S.r.l. (hereinafter “Core”, “we”, “us” or “our” as appropriate) is proud to offer a lifetime warranty on all baseplates and heelcups. Please consider that this lifetime warranty is in addition to the legal warranties provided by applicable laws; in this respect, Core’s sole liability shall be to replace or repair at its sole discretion the defective baseplates and heelcups.

For all other binding parts, if you have any problems with defects in materials or workmanship, you may contact us and we will assist you in verifying whether the parts in question are covered by the dealer's warranty. Also, please consider that all other binding parts are covered against defects in materials or workmanship for 2 years (Europe only) from the date of purchase.

Covered By Warranty:

• Damage or binding failure due to defects in materials or workmanship.

Not Covered By Warranty:

• Lost parts.
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or normal wear and tear.
• Holes in ankle straps caused by boot eyelets.
• Damage caused by low chairlifts or moving vehicles.
• Damage or wear to boots caused by binding contact points.
• Damage caused by solvents, adhesives or Loc-Tite.
• Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Warranty applies to our products purchased from an Authorized Union Dealer and is only valid for the original purchaser. Bindings purchased second hand, on E-bay, Craigslist or similar platforms are not covered under warranty.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase from an Authorized Union Dealer.

In case that a warranty is covered and inside the warranty time frame, Core will provide the replacement part or parts at no cost and cover the cost of shipping the part (custom fee to Extra EEC Countries excluded) to the nearest Authorized Union Dealer or directly to the customer.

In case that a warranty is covered but outside the warranty timeframe, Core will provide the replacement part if we have it in stock but will require the customer to cover the cost of shipping to the nearest Authorized Core Dealer or directly to the customer.

In case that a warranty is not covered, please check out our Genuine Replacement Parts, fill out a Union Binding Part Request below or search for a new pair of Union bindings.

Core reserves the right to repair or replace any faulty parts at its discretion.

Warranty coverage may vary country by country. Please contact your local Authorized Union Dealer for details of coverage in your region.

Baseplate: The term “Baseplate” only refers to the actual nylon base of the binding. This does not include the EVA padding, mounting disks and hardware or disk cover.

Lifetime Warranty: The term “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the binding, not the lifetime of the buyer. A binding’s lifetime is based on how much use the binding gets. Example: If you have a binding from 2015 and you only ride 1 day each season, the binding will have a longer lifetime and it will be in noticeably good overall condition. If you have a binding from 2015 and ride 100+ days a season, the binding will have a shorter lifetime and will eventually need to be repaired or replaced. A binding’s lifetime will be determined by us on a case by case basis.

Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents and normal wear and tear are inevitable on all snowboarding gear. This type of damage is usually caused by gear transportation, lift lines run ins, using gear in extreme weather conditions, poor storage, and general snowboarding wear and tear. This type of damage is not covered by our warranty policy.

Covered By Warranty:

• Damage or binding failure due to defects in materials or workmanship for one year from date of purchase.
• Lifetime* warranty on baseplates and heelcups.

Not Covered By Warranty:

• Lost parts.
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or normal wear and tear.
• Holes in ankle straps caused by boot eye-lets.
• Damage caused by low chairlifts or moving vehicles.
• Damage or wear to boots caused by binding contact points.
• Damage caused by solvents, adhesives or Loc-Tite.
• Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.
