Freestyle Rating: Freestyle bindings are designed for riders looking for the ultimate freedom, comfort and that “loose truck” feel. These bindings are generally best suited for riding park or riders looking for a more soft and surfy board feel.

All Mountain Rating: All Mountain bindings are generally mid-flexing and built to handle all terrain and all riding styles.

Performance Rating: Performance bindings are stiffer, provide instant edge-to-edge response, and the most stable board connection possible. Performance bindings are generally best suited for high speed carving or ridding steep technical terrain.

Freeride Rating: Freeride bindings are built for off-piste exploration, deep powder, and challenging backcountry conditions. They combine support, comfort, and responsiveness, allowing riders to tackle variable snow and steep terrain with confidence.

Binding Flex
Union Bindings come in a variety of flex ratings. The baseplate, highback, straps, bushing and disk all have different stiffnesses to help give a specific ride feel and function. Softer flexing bindings are generally used for more surfy or freestyle riding, while stiffer bindings are generally used for more hard charging and responsive freeriding.

Duraflex CB Carbon-Injected Nylon

The Duraflex XC Halo Baseplate Frame is lightest baseplate Union has ever created, while still maintaining the mandatory strength-to-weight ratios needed to pass Union’s strict durability tests. The frame also plays the critical role of connecting the baseplate core, bottom bushing, heelcup, ankle and toe straps together. Made with partially sustainable carbon injected Duraflex XC Nylon.

Ultra-Lightweight + Hyper Responsive

The Forged Carbon DCS Baseplate Core is stiff, responsive, and ultra-lightweight. Through extensive rounds of R&D the Union Lab was able to reduce the baseplate height by 10% getting you as close to the topsheet as possible. This baseplate layer allows for the fastest possible transfer of energy from the rider to the snowboard that Union has ever achieved. Made possible by Union exclusive Forged Carbon.

Hi-Flex HP EVA Bushing

Cushioning + Sock Absorption

More durable and more cushioned than traditional thermoformed EVA. Hi-Flex EVA bushings act as an additional layer of dampening and shock absorption between you and your snowboard and never lose shape over time. This reduced volume bushing design allows the rider to be as close to the topsheet as possible.
